A great list of fun kid-friendly things to do around Asheville!

I wish I could claim this fabulous list, but it was compiled by the MOPS group at Biltmore Baptist Church. It's too great a list not to share!  We've only checked out a few on the list & can't wait to visit the rest!

1. Mountain Play Lodge (Wed.-Mon. 10-6; ages 2 and under $6; ages 3-12 $10

2. Nature Center (open daily 10-5; adults $8, ages 3 and up $4; 2 and under free;
family membership available for $60)

3. Hiking (Bent Creek, Dupont forest, Pisgah forest, Catawba falls)

4. Apple picking (Justus farms, Skytop Orchard) - We had a great time at Skytop Orchard a few weeks ago! They have a lot of fun things to do. My little guy had so much fun on the playground that we didn't even make it into the orchard!

5. Storytime (most libraries)

6. Health Adventure (Mon-Sat. 10-8; adults $9.50; ages 3 and up $6.50; 2 and under
free; family membership available for $90) -We LOVE the Health Adventure! It doesn't hurt that Chick-fil-a is just down the hall.

7. Hands On museum (Hendersonville-$5/person ages 1 and up-adults must pay too)

8. Fun Depot (Mon.-Thur. 11-8; Fri.-Sat. 10 AM-11 PM; soft play area $3/child)

9. Tiny Tikes (at Lee Stephens Rec Center downtown Wed./Fri. 10-12 $1/child)

10. Splashville (fountains in Pack square downtown-free except for parking) - Alright, I just noticed that "Splashville" rhymes with "Asheville." That's cute.

11. Arboretum (free on the first Tuesday of every month)

12. Asheville Tree House ($8 for first child, $6 each other child)

13. North Mills River picnic area/natural pool (price per car, not sure what it is)
